Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds the Institute Corporate Finance Qualification. In the ten years to 1988 he had been FD and latterly MD of the Spiralux Group, an engineering based manufacturer of consumer products.
At Spiralux he gained extensive experience in setting-up new operations, business development and expansion funding.
In 1988 Peter established the practice today known as Samuels Corporate. He continues to head the firm, working with a portfolio of ongoing clients and advising on M & A transactions in general. Peter has advised on over eighty transactions including twenty MBOs in the last ten years. |

Darren Hurdle

Darren’s academic training was as an electronics engineer. After gaining early experience with MEL and Racal, he joined medical equipment supplier Bard Limited, the UK subsidiary of C R Bard Inc. Working with a small team specialising in Electrophysiology, he was a member of a divisional MBO in 1999. The business was sold back to Bard a few years later, following which Darren made the decision to switch to corporate finance. He has advised on transactions in a wide range of sectors. |

Kevin is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He has a wealth of commercial experience, having worked in senior financial roles with large corporations, SMEs and start-up businesses plus extensive involvement with business mentoring schemes. Prior to joining Samuels Corporate, his most recent roles were with Northern & Shell plc, working in New York to launch the OK! magazine in the USA and as Group Financial Controller of Blueheath Holdings plc, completing a reverse takeover of the Booker Group. |
