SamCorp advised a £30m turnover South of England based commercial vehicle dealership, on the acquisition of an additional site from Dagenham Motors.
Having successfully advised the shareholding directors in the Company buy-in of a minority shareholder’s equity, SamCorp assumed an ongoing strategic and financial consultancy role.
An opportunity arose, in a very flat market, to acquire the Dagenham Motors dealer. SamCorp worked with the directors to make the case for the purchase and successfully presented it to the Company’s bankers, who assisted in the funding of the acquisition.
The FD says
“Samuels have fulfilled a crucial role for the Company during a sustained period of recession fuelled flat trading. When the opportunity arose to acquire the additional dealership it was essential that we understood the upside and downside implications. Darren and SamCorp provided the input necessary to gain that understanding.”
