SamCorp was introduced to this Manchester and Suffolk based group, who wished to make a strategic disposal of their £5m turnover automonous manufacturing subsidiary, Herbert Industrial Limited.

The Company had a well- respected design capability and ran an efficient after-sales operation, under the day to day control of its managing director.

Notwithstanding the strengths of the business, the parent (Herbert Group Ltd) had decided to concentrate its efforts in areas away from manufacturing. Accordingly, SamCorp was appointed to manage the sale, preparing an information memorandum and carrying out a wide search to identify potential buyers.

The private investor buyer that SamCorp located was experienced in making such acquisitions and reached agreement for the subsidiary MD to work with him going forward.
